Lex Talionis and Sympathizers of Criminals
Well, FUCK THAT SHIT.
Anton LaVey said it best: "Anyone who says 'we must try to understand' those who make life undeserving of misery is abiding and abetting a social cancer!"(pg. 90). No one ever stops to think about the victims who've had to suffer by the hands of trouble makers. Instead, they want us to sympathize and to fall for excuses that they make for these criminals whether those excuses were horrible life histories or circumstances in their personal lives. The part of me that is supposed to care about all that is dead. It doesn't exist. My sympathies are with the real victims, the ones who experienced misery brought about by the criminal.
We now live in a time where bails are set really low or criminals can just walk out within 12-24 hours of being arrested. And I’m talking about people who commit repeat misdemeanors or people committing major felonies. Police are prevented from literally chasing criminals as they’re leaving the scene of their crime. Most recently I heard about a man who had his business robbed and the thieves were getting in the car as cops are literally showing up to the scene. And the chase couldn’t be done.
Recently I had a rapist arrested who was literally seen by witnesses and recorded on camera what he was doing to a disabled blind victim in a parking lot. His bail was only $40K. What a damn joke. And people in my area know what he did when he was released with bail but they let him roam among law-abiding citizens rather than shaming him and casting him away. (I’ve had a curse thrown at him not that long ago due to how angry I was recently about this guy).
Every time I go on my personal Instagram, the first post I see is usually an old person getting robbed by cowards or those very same cowards are recently released from jail after committing a crime like the one I mentioned because their DA’s policies consist of immediately releasing these criminals with a slap on the wrist, a kiss on the cheek, and the criminals being told “it’s ok, just don’t do it again, silly goose!”
We need to push for a more Satanic way of dealing with those who break the law and cause misery for the innocent.
Lex Talionis - the law of retaliation, whereby a punishment resembles the offense committed in kind and degree. This is what we Satanists believe needs to be used.
We need to end these slaps on the wrist. We need to stop taking it easy on people who cause misery for innocent people and who make a mockery of the law. It's time we go back to the time when the punishment actually fits the crime, where the criminal is shunned and treated like the worms that they are. It’s horrendous that our tax dollars are used to keep these monsters housed and fed, at least the ones we actually put in prison. We as Satanists want to return to times where actual JUSTICE is served and where get rid of the act of abetting and enabling criminal acts.
Hail Justice! Hail Satan!
